Heritage Club Program

Dance! Dance! Dance!: our first Heritage Club Kit for China, available in early 2007.

The Dance! Dance! Dance! kit uses the arts (music, dance, literature and art) as the medium to exploring certain aspects of Chinese culture, contemporary society and history.

The kit includes materials for a twelve-week schedule with a weekly group meeting of 45 to 60 minutes. You may vary or adapt the program to a different schedule if necessary.

Dance! Dance! Dance! is designed for ages 5 to 9, although children slightly older or younger may also participate with success.

The Dance! Dance! Dance! program aims to provide children with:

• An introduction to Chinese culture through interactions with the arts, literature, history, language of the country
  
  
• An opportunity to build children’s self-esteem and self-awareness
  
  
• A chance to create a community environment where children can see and appreciate each other’s similarities and differences
