Celebrate Mid Autumn Festival with a MoonRattles Kit
We are excited to announce the re-issue of Rabbit Mooncakes by Hoong Yee Lee Krakauer. The original edition, published in the early 1990s, has been out-of-print too long and MoonRattles is proud to bring it back to a new generation of families. Hoong Yee shares a fictionalized version of her own childhood during Mid Autumn or Harvest Moon time in a Chinese American family.
Continue your Mid Autumn journey with explorations of geography, poetry, craft work, cooking and a look at one of the smallest ethnic groups in China, the Jinos.

The kit includes a 52-page spiral bound activity guide, the storybook Rabbit Mooncakes, a parents' program guide, unique activity materials (you supply the basic materials) and a lovely tin of Chinese jasmine tea to enjoy during this festival.
